The proclamation of the Word of God is open to those fully initiated Catholics over the age of 16, who are registered members of St. Bernard of Clairvaux Parish and have a talent for public reading and a deep desire to study Scripture. 
As one of the most important ministries in the Church, Lectors are called to proclaim the readings during Mass.  Lectors must  attend an annual day of prayer/reflection and other meetings that occur during the year.
